Our ability to accessorise
Even with a vintage camper, what really differentiates us from the animals, is our ability to accessorise, especially when it comes to having a vintage split screen camper! Having upgraded the gear stick to the amazing Gene Berg bus shifter, it was time to find a home for this amazing vintage Polco Car Compass my wonderful wife found for me a few years ago!

Original packaging
The original box packaging is fantastic, and the compass is pretty much complete with both the original instructions and even the original bill of sale/receipt from its original purchase. Unfortunately it does not have the date of sale, but it was bought at Gamages, a department store founded by Mr. A. W. Gamage at 116-128 Holborn, London, EC1. Unfortunately the store closed in March 1972.

Cool compass
The compass still functions as it should, but unfortunately whatever fluid was used to fill the inside of the dome, has long since dissipated. The original plastic suction cup is also missing, but this should not be too hard to source a suitable replacement.

Once a replacement suction cup is sourced, it will make a great looking addition to the dash area of the split screen camper!
