Great tyres for a stock bus
As part of the process of switching over to the original VW 15″ steel wheels, I took the opportunity of getting some new ‘stock’ size tyres for the freshly painted rims. Fortunately, North Hants Tyres not only had the right size, but they also had them in with a really cool vintage looking 35mm white band – too much temptation!

This is what the old 14″ wheels look like. With some freshly painted 15″ original steel wheels and fresh rubber, it going to give the bus quite a transformation!

So with the über cool looking 35mm white bands clinching the deal, I ordered my 195/80/R15 Commercial Galaxy V2000 8 ply whitewall tyres in the morning, and the next day they arrive ready to be fitted! So time to get the new hub cap clips fitted and get the new wheels fitted to the bus!

Worth the wait! Once fitted, the new-look wheels look ace. Stock rocks! Happy with the stance. No, it’s not slammed or on the deck, but I like the way it looks now. Each to their own, this suits me just fine!

All dressed up and nearly ready to go! Ninove has been a great motivator for getting a whole variety of different jobs sorted. Nothing like having a deadline to work to!
