Summers coming
You know that summer is coming when you start seeing a few more air-cooled VW’s on the road. Seems that now is the time that a few more are coming out of their winter’s hibernation!
a very funky custom bus gleaming in the sunI was walking home along the seafront and saw this cool custom bus in the seafront car park. Not only do you get to see a variety of VW air-cooled vehicles on the road, but you also get to see a few cool vintage scooters out and about in the sun too! 🙂

some proper bling on this two-wheeled air cooled scooterHastings hosts an informal ‘gathering’ or bike run of anywhere between 20,000 to 30,000 motorbikes over the May Day bank holiday weekend! Not only do you have this, but there is also the distinctly weird, wacky and fun Jack in the Green festivities…
It really is quite an amazing weekend to experience! If you are ever in the Hastings neighbourhood, you really should check it all out one year!
I think the sunshine is trying to get a message across… time to open the windows of the bus and enjoy a bit of summer sun myself after a long winter.
it’s a sign…Maybe it’s time for me to be heading off on a little road trip soon? I do have a return ticket for the channel ferry, maybe I should have another little European adventure – watch this space…
