After a fair amount of running around in the recent winter weather, it was great to get out and give my vintage VW split screen camper a good wash and polish, as the Blue-White (Blauweiss) L289 over Velvet Green L512 was beginning to get a bit of grey road dirt overtone after all the rain and driving!
I have to say that the Meguiars wash and wax kit has worked out to be a really good starting point to keep my camper in a good clean condition. As we have trees at the front, I always make sure to give special attention to the gutters and make sure they are good and clean, remembering what happened to the Early Bay Westfalia when it was originally in America!
Drivers side gutter…
Passenger side gutter…
and finally the rear gutter over the rear hatch as well!
All clean again
That’s the trouble with having a clean and tidy looking camper. Its hard work keeping it looking presentable! So finally all washed up and ready to go again!
